KL has turned into a lively and dazzling city from a ‘not so vivacious’ city. For now, I will give you an overview journey of some of Kuala Lumpur’s pride. I’ll start with KL’s most popular architectural landmark – Petronas Twin Towers, popularly known as KLCC. It is one of the highest buildings in the world. It is 452 meters high and was inspired by an Islamic Art with modern outlook. The first time I took the bus from where I stay going to the office, I was wandering around the city and I was a bit amazed that I saw the towers and got excited to go there. Maybe that's the reason why I passed to where I should drop and got lost. pity me! lol!

Some facts about Petronas Twin Towers:

Number of storeys: 88
Overall height: 452 metres above street level
Design/Architecture: Cesar Pelli & Associates (USA) in association with KLCC architects
Location of the sky bridge: Levels 41 and 42
Length of the sky bridge: 58.4 meters
Height of the sky bridge: 170 meters
Vertical transportation: 29 double-deck high speed passengers lifts in each tower
Number of escalators: 10 in each tower
Date of completion: 1997
Building Cost: $1.2 billion
Entrace Fee: Free but only a limited amount of timed tickets
(800) is given out each day.

Second Stop: Selangor

Selangor is one of the most visited places in Malaysia. If ever I had the chance to go there, I will surely look for and aim to go to Selangor, also known as the 'Industrial Hub of the Nation.' Selangor is one of the most developed states in the country; with its prime skilled manpower, developed industrial sectors, and fascinating resources. And with its refined tin, antimony, and copper as the prime source of Selangor's boosting wealth and foundation of the city. The city amazes everyone with its attractions such as Petaling Jaya, Subang Jaya, Sunway, Kuala Selangor Nature Park, and the royal town of Klang where you will find the best and huge centres and industrial institutions.

Not only you will enjoy the feeling of a well developed state, of course your trip would not be complete without experiencing Selangor's entertainment, shopping, and different gourmets and varied cuisines from Malay, Chinese, and Indian influences. Imagine just visiting one state yet you have the opportunity to try the best dishes of other countries. These are just some of the many attractions, experiencing all these yourself is still the best.

First Stop: Kuala Lumpur

Before going somewhere around any country, in my own opinion it is best that we know the capital city. And since I want to tour you around Malaysia, I will first tour you to the capital of this country, Kuala Lumpur. Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia is located midway along the West Coast of Peninsular Malaysia. It is the largest city and capital of Malaysia. Kuala Lumpur also paved its way as a more civilized and commercial trade, industry, and transportation center. Huge and enormous buildings and shopping malls can also be found here in Kuala Lumpur such as the Petronas Towers, said to be the second tallest building in the world. But despite of the industrial growth of Kuala Lumpur, it still preserves and value the culture and rich past. With all the beautiful things to see in Kuala Lumpur, you will never really feel that you are tired because all those efforts are paid off.

Malaysia: Facts and About

Federation of Malaysia (best known as Malaysia) is one of the diverse and multicultural country in South East Asia.
